Among the highlights of the forum will be the launch of the first national report of GEM on the state of entrepreneurship in Bulgaria. The event will also discuss global trends in entrepreneurship, derived from data on more than 120,000 respondents and more than 2,000 experts that participated in the annual study. Within the two days, professionals will discuss the strengths of Bulgaria and the Balkans, the most promising sectors for the country, the relationship between science and business, best practices for better interaction between the actors in the ecosystem, the role of the diaspora and others.
“This is an event for everyone who strives to add and receive extraordinary social and economic value through entrepreneurship and innovation. In the program will be featured best practices not only in Bulgaria and the region, but also from Western Europe, North America and Asia,” said Iskren Krusteff, chairman of GEM Bulgaria.
In the individual panels, special attention will be given to the key elements of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including finance, cultural attitudes, human capital, markets, policy making and more. Among the highlights in the program of the forthcoming forum will be a panel in which some of the biggest investors in the region will present their funds to start-ups and already established market companies, followed by questions from a judging panel of entrepreneurs.
